Start free. Pay when your game ships.

Every plan runs your project in the browser on real WebGPU, with cloud streaming as a fallback.

WebGPU rendering is free on every plan. When a device can run your project natively, it renders on the player's own GPU and there is no per-minute charge at all. You only pay per minute when a session falls back to a cloud GPU.

What you're paying for

Strata does the part that used to take weeks

Getting an engine project to run in a browser is normally a build-system project of its own. Strata is the agent that does it for you: it cooks your project, ships it to the web, and when a real session fails it reads the diagnostics and repairs the build. Cooks, ships and repairs all count as runs, so there is one number to watch.

Cook

Turns your Unreal or Unity project into a WebGPU build the browser can run, with the texture formats and feature levels each device needs.

Ship

Publishes the build to your endpoint and rolls it out, so a new revision is a command rather than a deploy process you maintain.

Repair

When live sessions fail, Strata clusters the diagnostics, finds the cause, and fixes the build — without you reading a single stack trace.

Free gives you one run a day, queued behind paid work — enough to get a project on the web and keep it there. Indie, at $99/month, makes it unlimited, so iteration speed stops being a billing decision.

Questions

Is there really a free tier?

Yes. Free is pay-as-you-go: no monthly fee, $10 of trial credits, every streaming mode, and no resolution cap. You pay per streaming minute, and client-side WebGPU rendering costs nothing per minute at all because it runs on the player's own GPU.

What happens when I use my free daily run?

Nothing breaks — your game keeps running and streaming. You just can't start another Strata run until the next day, unless you upgrade.

How do seats work?

A seat is a person who can work on a project, counting the owner. Free is a single seat, Indie includes two and Studio ten, and extra seats are $29/month each. Enterprise has no per-seat charge at any size.

Which Unreal versions can I ship?

New engine lines reach paid plans first and become available on Free later. Projects already on a line keep working — this only affects when you can move onto a brand new one. Paid plans get every line the day it ships.

Why is Studio so much more than Indie?

Indie is built for one team shipping one or two projects. Studio adds priority Strata runs, five in parallel, a deeper usage discount, $100/month in credits and priority support — it pays for itself once streaming spend is the dominant cost rather than the subscription.

Can I change plans later?

Any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and downgrades at the end of the billing period. Annual billing saves 20%.

How do I estimate streaming costs?
